The power LED is mounted on to special star aluminum PCB that acts to draw heat away from the LED, therefore extending its operational life. This makes them perfect for many lighting applications. Star type PCB allow easily to create series or parallel connections to many 1W/3W/5W power LEDs. The 3mm Round outline across PCB allows you to use standard M3 screw for mounting the PCB.
