This adapter can be used to convert any 10 pin ICSP(In Circuit Serial Programming) socket to ZIF socket for programming any 89Sxx chips like AT89S51, AT89S52 AT89S8252, AT89S8253, etc which are supported by programmer. ZIF socket provides easy insertion and removal of chips. Board has onboard 4 Mhz oscillator crystal. The programmer has to provide power from its 10 pin socket to the chip.
This adapter acts as a target board for programming ICs from 10 pin Atmel standard programming connector.
