Details

This regulator is based on LM2576 which can deliver up to 3 Ampere current at 5V regulation. It accepts input voltage from 12V to 40V DC/AC. Since it is a switching regulator, it will not heat up at high input voltage and handle current of 3 Amp.
This regulator is suggested as replacement of LM7805 where high performance & reliable operation is required.
Board includes bridge rectifier so that AC signal from transformer can be fed as input.
